Perhaps I had ought to educate you on the true meaning of bigotry: "Intolerant attitudes toward those who hold different opinions from oneself." While I freely admit that my opinions are different from those who are voting "No" on proposition 8, I have never been intolerant of them. Tolerance means to accept ones differences, not to embrace them. I respect individuals regardless of their sexual orientation and I wish them the greatest happiness--I just don't feel that it is right for them to fundamentally change the institution of marriage which has been as it is for thousands of years. I suppose that that is the difference between conservatives and radicals. When a conservative expresses a controversial opinion you call it "bigotry" whereas when a radical expresses a controversial opinion you call it "progressive"--nice double standard, buddy! And I suppose that this is the difference between you and me. . .I have the ability to recognize that people have differing opinions from my own and I am glad that they have that freedom, whereas you believe that everyone MUST think like you or they are bigots. So tell me, who is the real bigot here?

p.s. Thanks for the name-calling. It shows just how sophisticated you are and reveals the fact that you have nothing to support your position--great first grade tactics!

*And I assure you that there will be no deviant behavior coming from those who will be at this rally in support of Proposition 8. They are good, honest people who are patriotic Americans, and do not wish any harm to come to anyone. It will be a respectful demonstration. . . come on out and see for yourself!Mr. Hallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10303979052950013319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8554787428053957428.post-87509926618477952422008-10-21T21:11:00.000-07:002008-10-21T21:11:00.000-07:00Thank you for letting everyone know where bigots w...Thank you for letting everyone know where bigots will be gathering this weekend.

I'm hoping that there wont be any cross burnings, however, we are in a Santa Ana condition this weekend and I'd hate to see any fires.Guanohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12079983043190031994noreply@blogger.com
